Foundation field achievements

Since beginning operations in January 2009, Foundation SEMAFO has helped set up a series of sustainable development projects: market gardens; sesame production; small-scale chicken, sheep, rabbit, laying hen and pig farming; electrification of health centers, schools, teacher’s and nurse’s lodgings ;  construction of a shea butter production and processing center; and construction of schools, latrines, school canteens and multi-functional platforms (MFPs). In addition, the Foundation has distributed several dozen containers comprising thousands of donated articles (primarily school and medical supplies, books and clothes).

In its first months of operation, SEMAFO Foundation focused on the distribution of material gifts.
