Niger: Project completed in 2014

In its contribution to meeting the MDGs (Millennium Development Goals) and since October 2015 to meeting the SDGS (Sustainable Development Goals), SEMAFO Foundation aims primarily to enhance school enrolment, improve success rates and the quality of education. This should lead to a sustainable improvement of school life and an expansion and upgrading of school facilities.

The SEMAFO Foundation through its support to education meets all the conditions to allow students to study under the best conditions and to be true future development actors. Its ambition is to rehabilitate and build primary and secondary schools as well as latrines and boreholes for drinking water to improve the working and educational environment for teachers and students. In addition, hand-washing facilities and desk-benches are offered to them to provide not only additional convenience and a healthy setting for their studies, but also to have equipment for the practice and promoting sanitation in schools.
