“You can give a person a fish and feed them for a day, or you can teach them to fish, and they're fed for a lifetime.” Inspired by this saying, the Foundation has chosen to focus its actions on education and training, healthcare and sustainable development.

By supporting local agricultural production and income-generating activities, building schools and latrines or digging wells, SEMAFO Foundation has at heart to help these communities to be self-sufficient.
